The front-end dashboard allows your clients to manage their appointments or make changes to their appointments. Thanks to the front-end customer dashboard, your customers will be able to create their own profiles and make changes to their profiles and appointment times without the need to be contacted.
Please note that the client board is not intended for booking appointments. You need to configure the booking block so that your clients can book appointments without logging into your website.
How to enable and activate the customer’s control panel in the electronic reservation coordinator:
First, you need to log into your Bookinzy account and then click on Settings.
You will need to enable the customer front panel option. For this purpose, you are supposed to go through this guide: Bookinzy> Settings> Front End Panels> Customer Dashboard and enable the Customer Dashboard option.
In this section, you can specify the powers you can grant to your clients regarding their accounts. These include the following.
- Allow clients to reschedule their appointments.
- Allow customers to cancel their appointments.
- Allow customers to delete their accounts.
Username and passwords assigned to clients to access their control panel:
From the settings for email and SMS notifications, you will have the option to access the customer dashboard which is to send usernames and passwords to your customers.
After enabling this option, you’ll need to add the following quick short code to the email notifications template:
- {customer_panel_url}: The page link for entering the customer dashboard.
- {customer_panel_password}: A randomly generated password for your customers.
- Your customers’ username is their email address. Therefore, it may be helpful to add the {customer_email} short code to inform your customers of this.
Once a password is randomly generated, your customers will be able to change and set a new password from their Customer Panel.
Please keep in mind that as much as your customers’ email will be their username, you will also need to make the email address field a required field to make the customer dashboard available to the customer.
